My Day ("we", "us", or "our") is a personal productivity application that helps you track daily habits, log wellness check-ins, and visualize your progress. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information.
2. Information We Collect
Account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.
Habit and check-in data: We store the habits you create, your daily habit completions, check-in metrics, and log entries you submit through the app.
Google Calendar data: With your explicit permission, we request read-only access to your Google Calendar. We use this solely to display upcoming events alongside your habits within the app. We do not store your calendar events on our servers.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the My Day service
- To display your habits, streaks, and check-in history
- To show your Google Calendar events in-app (read-only, not stored)
- To authenticate your identity securely via Google OAuth
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Google API Usage
My Day uses Google OAuth 2.0 for authentication and requests the calendar.readonly scope to read your Google Calendar events. This access is used exclusively to display events within the app. We do not modify, delete, or share your calendar data. Our use of Google API data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a hosted database platform with row-level security enabled so that only you can access your own data. We use HTTPS for all data transmission. We retain your data for as long as your account is active.
6. Your Rights and Choices
- You can revoke Google Calendar access at any time via your Google Account permissions.
- You can delete your habits and check-in data at any time within the app.
